The story

A group of engineers, and one question.

Codefield was formed by senior engineers who had spent years inside other companies' teams: embedded in delivery, leading projects, laying the architectural foundations of new platforms, supporting what was already running, and recovering what had gone off track. Different clients, different stacks, the same pattern. Senior judgement was needed at specific moments and could rarely be had in time.

The question they kept returning to was how work in this field should be organised, and how to serve companies and projects best. The answer is Codefield: senior architects and engineers, available for exactly as long as a project needs them, under one contract, with a practice behind every person and a clean hand-over at the end. The same expertise, with a company around it.
